Job Description – IT Manager
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the planning and implementation of ERP / SAP / Any new Software Project.
• Translate the business requirements received of the functions into requirements from the new ERP /
SAP systems and ensure that they are efficiently implemented
• Manage the end to end project life cycle for SAP/ERP implementation in Group, working in collaboration with members of a cross functional team in the Group.
• Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, timelines and deliverables for the implementation of any ERP / SAP system
• Define project tasks, pre-requisites and dependencies and internal resource requirements.
• Prepare risk management plans and manage risks in association with the implementation partner.
• Prepare quality management plans and manage quality in association with the implementation partner.
• Work with internal teams and implementation partners to satisfactorily plan and monitor project timelines to guarantee on-time delivery.
• Point of contact from Company with the external consultants for any ERP / SAP partners
• Manage ERP/SAP support for all modules.
• Procurement of Licenses & other necessary software (Joint responsibility).
• Change management agent; this role will serve as the primary workflow change driver for the entire
organization
• Leads the testing cycles and helps to drive the user acceptance criteria for any ERP / SAP system that
will be implemented
• Partner with outsourced vendor, as needed, to provide seamless delivery across the teams, resolve
issues and manage escalations
• Undertake other initiatives to meet business requirement as per the discretion of the Management from time to time
Experience Required 12-15 years of total experience in managing IT solutions, preferably for a manufacturing organization. Experience of at least 2 end to end ERP implementation projects is a must.(Preferably at least one SAP implementation Project)
