Data Scientist – Machine Learning

Profile Summary:

A degree in Engineering, Science,or a similar Quantitative field,preferably with a related postgraduate degree or Ph.D.

Education: BSc /BTech+MSC/MS/MTech +PhD (Preferred)

Experience working on Advanced Analytics, Big Data and Machine Learning (ML) as well as on Business Analytics or BusinessIntelligence.  

More than three years of industry experience,

At least 1Yrs in Predictive Analytics

off which least one year ofstrong experience working on predictive analytics, machine learning and otherdomains in advanced data analytics.

Responsibilities:

·        Leverageprocess/enterprise data to build statistical/mathematicalmodels

·        Producebusiness relevant insights from all available data sets

·        Implementscalable Data Science solutions on asuitable technology stack for enterprise deployment

·        Integratenew ML modules to existing datacollection and reporting solutions, includingBI systems

·        Createinsightful and actionable reports and visualizations with conclusions derivedfrom data

Technical skills:

·        Exploratorydata analysis skills

·        Knowledgeand experience with machine learningalgorithms (supervised andunsupervised).

·        Knowledgeof statistical techniques to support exploratory findings and conclusions

·        Strongexperience in one of the programming languages used in data science (Python, R,MATLAB or similar)

·        Good tohave experience with some of the related packages Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib, scikit-learn,etc.

·        Experienceworking on Cloud technologies –preferably on Azure.

·        Experience in deploying machine solutions ata proof of concept and industry scale

·        Experience working on agile methodologies (Scrum or SAFe)

Other relevant skills/requirements:

·        Self-motivated,with a strong desire to learn new skills and technology.

·        Experienceworking in a consulting role with significant direct interactions with clients

·        Abilityto work with domain experts and quickly grasp the core parts of a problem thatcan be solved by data

·        Experience working on Proofs of Concept and Prototypingenvironment and the ability to scale them gradually
