    Job Description for 'Manager Operations - Academic Delivery' for a disruptive Online K-12 School

    • It is a multifaceted role suitable for dynamic candidate having interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills.
    • The candidate will work closely with other team functions in sourcing the suitable candidates for academic delivery, scheduling sessions, handling escalations and identifying training and development needs.

    Primary Responsibilities include:

     ▪ Sourcing of talent (Teachers, Academicians): Identify, interact and interview to hire talented teachers for course delivery; envisage the growing demand and create long term hiring plan; function as a talent advisor and expert to HR team in finding and assessing great talent, coordinate with HR team to achieve cost optimization; hire and manage part-time teachers and volunteers to satisfy the requirement.

    ▪ Implementing high quality academic delivery: Academic planning, including annual calendars and lesson planning for Class V-XII.

    Session allocation for online delivery by the teachers; manage time allocation and availability of team for 24 hours operations; manage supply-demand and optimising operations with best utilization of teachers.

     ▪ Training and development of Teachers: Identify the need for further training of teachers; join sessions with teachers, indulge with students to collect feedback, analyse the information to identify the areas of improvement in delivery, design and conduct training workshop, liaison on process updates and prepare training documentation.

    ▪ Handle complaints and issues: Handle technical issues from the students and teachers, solve complaints, and manage escalations to the product support team that requires a resolution on an enterprise level.

    ▪ Manage Teacher retention and continuous professional development

    ▪ Deliver excellent quality and efficiency in support and operations with maximum satisfaction of users/students


    Desired Skill/Qualifications

    ▪ Relevant experience of minimum 3 years including experience of managing large teams with operational complexity

    ▪ Good knowledge of education market trends and need of students / teachers

     ▪ Strong communication and relationship building skills

    ▪ Highly self-motivated and keen to work in a fast paced start-up environment

    ▪ Individual sound Analytical and logical abilities

    ▪ Effective problem solving skills including decision making, time management & immediate prioritization of tasks as assigned
